Home of the Heart
What if the story that shaped how you saw yourself as the odd one out… was never the truth of who you are? Come explore the stories you’ve been telling for years and create a place inside yourself that finally feels like home.
The Quiet Ache of Not Belonging
You’ve been carrying a quiet ache for years: the sense that you don’t quite belong, even in rooms where people “know” you and you feel you know them. So you act as if you're connected and comfortable.
On the outside, you look capable, friendly, even confident. Yet inside, you’ve lived with the story of not belonging for as long as you can remember. Maybe they’ve shown in subtle ways that you’re not one of them, or maybe it’s the longing to be “claimed” — to be hugged and told, “You’re one of us, we love you just as you are.”
You may have tried journaling, therapy, distraction, or spiritual practices, yet the ache still lingers, quietly surfacing in the moments you don’t see coming. It shows up in familiar ways: being left out, feeling invisible, noticing yourself acting as though you belong just to get through it. You tell yourself “Maybe it’s just me,” or “Maybe it’s my imagination,” but the ache never really goes away.
Sometimes you do things that reinforce your sense of not belonging, and other times the sadness or anger of rejection hits so sharply it takes your breath away. What you wish someone understood is the quiet exhaustion of trying to belong, pretending you’re okay, and carrying the ache of feeling outside of things, and how hard it is not to know how to ease that feeling inside you.
The First Glimpse of Belonging
A longing may live inside you, a soft, persistent hope that something in your life could feel different, even if you’re not sure what that would look like yet.
You may begin to sense what belonging could feel like: a pause, a breath, gentleness toward yourself. Nothing dramatic, just a subtle shift in how you see and respond to your own heart. A quiet ease that feels almost like relief.
You may start to reflect a little more. A sense of calm begins to surface, and with it, a tender recognition: maybe you don’t have to prove you belong anymore. Maybe you can simply be yourself without bracing for rejection.
Gradually, you begin imagining what a life of belonging might feel like: moving through your days with more ease, trusting your own presence, feeling steadier inside yourself.
You picture moments where you show up without shrinking, where you feel connected without pretending, where you feel at home in your own skin. A life where belonging isn’t something you chase, but something you live from.
A Practice Rooted in Experience and Intuition
Home of the Heart: intuitive creativity workshop is shaped by Denise Coelho's lived and professional experience, grounded in years of quiet observation, listening between the words, and navigating the ache of feeling like an outsider. Her training in social work and Intentional Creativity® provides structure, while intuition and a steady presence create a space where women can unfold at their own pace.
Learning to go within — to hear the inner guidance quiet beneath the old story — helps women recognize the patterns in their words and notice where their stories live in their bodies. The approach is gentle, grounded, and free of pressure. Women often leave feeling lighter and more connected to themselves, surprised by what emerges when they paint, write, and reflect with honesty.
What’s offered is a calm, intuitive environment where truth can unfold without comparison or judgment — a space where women can feel safe, seen, and gently invited into possibility.
A Guided Journey Into Inner Belonging
House of the Heart is a guided creative journey that helps you move from feeling like an outsider to feeling more rooted, steady, and at home within yourself. Through painting, reflection, and gentle guidance, you begin to uncover the story beneath the story — and imagine a new way of belonging from within.
Two 2‑hour sessions over two consecutive weeks create a spacious container to slow down and hear yourself. The time between sessions lets you integrate what rises, notice subtle shifts, and return with new clarity.
A small, private group (Zoom or in‑person, no recordings) offers connection and safety — many women say they didn’t expect to feel so seen or so understood. Working with creative materials opens emotions and insights you may not reach through talking alone.
Four hours total — enough spaciousness to open awareness and help you see yourself with new honesty, without overwhelming your nervous system.
Voices from the Journey
Many women arrive feeling a little nervous, unsure what will happen, wondering whether they can express themselves, or worried they’re the only one who feels the way they do. That’s completely normal. What unfolds inside the workshop often surprises them.

FAQs/Concerns
It’s completely normal for certain thoughts or hesitations to surface as you consider House of the Heart. Most women arrive with a mix of curiosity and caution. If any of the following feel familiar, you may want to gently explore what’s underneath.
“Would I have to share my feelings?”
It makes sense to want to protect yourself. Many women have spent years staying strong or keeping deeper feelings tucked away because it never felt safe to let them surface. You don’t have to arrive open — you only have to arrive. The creative process lets you express things without having to talk about them directly, and you choose what you want to share, or not.
“I’m not sure things will change (other people seem to be the problem).”
It’s understandable to wish the people around you would behave differently; you’re not alone in that thought. But the quiet truth is that your power lives inside you — in your voice, your boundaries, and your treatment of self. House of the Heart isn’t about fixing anyone else; it’s about helping you see yourself with new honesty so you can move differently in your relationships
“I don’t have time — my life is already full.”
Your time is precious, and your responsibilities are real. Most women who come to this work are carrying a lot. They often discover that the four hours in this workshop may give you more energy than it takes. It’s not another obligation — it’s a pause that makes the rest of your life feel more spacious.
Wondering Whether This Is for You?
Who This Is For
You’ve been struggling to feel connected — in your family, in certain relationships, and within yourself. You’ve tried different ways to feel better, but the deeper story hasn’t shifted. You’re ready to be curious, to explore creatively, and to understand who you are beneath the patterns. You want relief, self‑acceptance, and a way of living that feels more like you.
Who This Is Not For
This isn’t for you if you’re seeking a quick fix, traditional talk therapy, or placing responsibility for belonging outside yourself. It’s not for you if you’re unwilling to reflect gently, engage creatively, or consider new perspectives. It’s also not for you if you’re in crisis.
If Something in You Is Leaning In
If you’re still reading and considering, maybe part of you is ready for something more aligned with who you’re becoming. You don’t have to be certain — just willing to explore what’s possible when you begin to imagine what belonging could feel like.
Inner belonging is the quiet sense of feeling at home in yourself — trusting your own experience and knowing you don’t have to earn your place.
This workshop is an opportunity to discover and learn to trust yourself in a space that honors your pace. You’re welcome to step in whenever you’re ready.
The Value of Choosing Yourself
When belonging goes unaddressed, the cost grows quietly — mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Another year of repeating the same story, feeling disconnected, and losing access to your intuition costs far more than investing in learning to explore what lies beneath your patterns. Women who fully participate often walk away seeing themselves differently, releasing old stories, and choosing new ways of relating to themselves and others. It’s a small investment for a shift that can change how you think, feel, and move through your life.
Your investment is $97.
Or, if you prefer a payment plan, you can pay $100 in four payments through PayPal.
A Yes! Toward What’s Possible
You’ve reached the moment when choosing yourself becomes the next right step—not a leap, just a gentle yes. You don’t have to be certain, brave, or confident to begin — you just have to be willing.
The fear you may feel is simply the edge of something new, not a sign you’re not ready. Women often experience joy here that may feel unexpected: joy in painting without judgment, joy in seeing their story differently, joy in coming home to themselves. If your heart is curious, even quietly, that’s the door opening. You’re invited to walk through it.
After you sign up, you’ll land on a PayPal confirmation page and receive a welcome email with everything you need to begin.
